• The Minister for Roads and Ports has launched Victoria's Local Roads: critical links in the national supply chain, a new strategy which highlights the importance of local roads to Victorian industry and the national economy.
  
  
• A Policy Statement setting out a new legislative policy framework for an integrated and sustainable transport system has been released. See the Transport Legislation Review page.
  
  
• A comprehensive review of marine safety laws is underway.
  
  
• The Victorian Transport Statistics Portal allows you to access and interrogate transport-related data — and other data of interest from a transport perspective — to profile and compare Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Statistical Local Areas (SLAs).
