When preparing new legislation or regulations, the Department of Transport is committed to robust and comprehensive consultation processes.
There are currently no consultation programs on legislation underway. Submissions on proposed Marine Safety Regulations closed in October 2011.
All consultation is conducted inline with our Engaging the Victorian Community charter.
