Pre-registration
The Department of Transport offers a pre-registration process for projects in the Boating Infrastructure and Search and Rescue (vessels only) categories. The pre-registration process is designed to assist applicants to understand what the BSFP assessment panel expects to see in a quality application and to help in identifying the key stakeholders that will need to be engaged prior to submitting an application.
Pre-registration should be carried out well in advance of the application period to enable the applicant to make full use of the assistance provided.
Groups intending to apply for funding in the Boating Facilities or Search & Rescue (Vessels) categories are required to pre-register their project. This can be done at any time. Pre-registration provides an opportunity for the Grants Administration Team to give advice on issues such as planning and permitting, quoting and tendering and vessel survey standards.
