Three options for Mallacoota boat ramp for assessment

The Victorian Government is working with East Gippsland Shire Council on the Mallacoota Open Ocean Access Development (also known as the Bastion Point boat ramp development) a proposed project to provide a new boat ramp at Mallacoota and replace the existing inadequate facility.

$1.4 million to replace ancient Apollo Bay dredge

The Colac Otway Shire will purchase a brand new dredging vessel to service Apollo Bay Harbour thanks to a $1.4 million Government grant. An additional $780,000 has also been provided for operational costs and asset maintenance, benefiting thousands of recreational boaters and supporting the local fishing industry.

New Gippsland Ports Board

New members of the Gippsland Ports Committee of Management have been announced. This board oversees infrastructure assets and provides services to assist boating, marine and offshore industries operating within the  waterways stretching from Anderson Inlet to Mallacoota.
