Green Triangle Region Freight Action Plan

The Green Triangle Region Freight Action Plan sets out a package of road, rail and other freight priorities required to ensure the region is able to cope with massive growth in export trade.

The plan was released in April 2009 and developed by the Victorian and South Australian Governments in close consultation with stakeholders including the timber industry, local government and the Port of Portland.

The Green Triangle region is one of Australia's most important export regions and is expected to experience significant growth in trade volumes between 2009 and 2014.
