The Department of Transport is delivering and planning transport projects that will expand the network, rebuild the basics and improve road traffic flow.
The public transport network will be expanded with planning and works on new rail lines, stations and services.
There will be a greater focus on rebuilding the basics: public transport safety, increased funding on maintenance, and the establishment of an independent Public Transport Development Authority.
There will be a push to improve road traffic flow by removing ten of the worst level crossings, completing major road projects and new bypass roads.
