Cranbourne-Pakenham Rail Corridor Project - community consultation

On 9 July 2014 the Victorian Government announced the start of community consultation on the first package of works. The package will include level crossing removals at:

  • Koornang Road
  • Murrumbeena Road
  • Clayton Road
  • Centre Road.

Concept designs

The level crossing removals will also require stations to be rebuilt at Carnegie Station, Murrumbeena Station and Clayton Station. The project team has developed concept designs for each of the new stations, which provide a first-look for the community to comment and provide input to help shape their new stations.

Feedback survey

A feedback survey is  available to identify key priorities for community members. Survey results will also feed in to further designs as the project progresses. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Information sessions

The project team will also be hosting a number of information sessions. These sessions will provide an opportunity for the community to meet the project team, ask questions about the project and provide feedback on concept designs.

The information sessions will be held on the following dates:

Venue: Clayton Hall Meeting Room, 264 Clayton Road, Clayton

  • Tuesday 22 July 2014: anytime between 5:30pm and 8:00pm
  • Saturday 26 July 2014: anytime between 9:30am and midday.

Venue: Boyd Room, Carnegie Community Centre, 7 Shepparson Avenue, Carnegie

  • Monday 28 July 2014: Anytime between 5:30pm and 8:00pm
  • Saturday 2 August 2014: Anytime between 9:30am and midday.

Venue:  Pakenham Hall, Corner John Street and Henry Street, Pakenham

  • Thursday 24 July 2014: Anytime between 5:30pm and 8:30pm.
