The Victorian Government's Electric Vehicle Trial will run until mid-2014 and will help Victoria to better understand the process, time lines and barriers for transitioning to electric vehicle technologies.

EVs and Fleets 2012 Training Workshop

The next EVs & Fleets 2012 training workshop will be held in late April.

Fleet managers, environment officers or those who need to know the 'what, when and how' of incorporating electric vehicles into fleet operations need to register their interest in attending.

The Trial

The trial is seeking households and fleets to drive an electric vehicle for three months each.

• Applications for households and fleets to take part in the trial in 2012 are now closed.
  
• Applications to participate in the 2013 trial will be sought towards the end of 2012.
