Construction Supplier Register

The Construction Supplier Register is pre-qualification scheme for building and construction industry consultants and contractors. It is available by arrangement with DOT to statutory authorities, school councils and hospitals as well as to other approved Government and non-Government organisations.

The Register and its associated pre-qualification scheme supports the implementation of Ministerial Direction No. 1: Tendering Provisions for Public Construction and benefits government and suppliers alike through the consistent application of suitable pre-qualification criteria and reduced tendering costs.

What's new

New subcategories: Fire Safety Engineering – Health and Building Surveyor – Health

At the request of the Department of Health the Construction Supplier Register has created two subcategories of the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) Fire Safety Engineer and Building Surveyor pre-qualification categories.

Applicants must first successfully apply to be included in one of the above WoVG categories, more details are available on the Fire Safety Engineer and Building Surveyor – Health page.

National Prequalification System for Non-residential Building

The Construction Supplier Register has worked closely with the Australasian Procurement and Construction Council to develop the National Prequalification System for Non-residential Building (NPS) where the construction cost estimate is $50 million and over.
