Renewing or updating your details

Information on this page includes information on renewing your Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) member card, how to pay for your card and how to change your address.

Renewing your card

Six weeks before your card expires, a bill for a new card will be automatically sent to you. A new card costs $16.50 and is valid for six years.

When you get your new card, destroy the old card. The old card won't work after its expiry date.

It is important that you tell the Victorian Taxi Directorate (VTD) if:

• you change your address, or else the bill for a new card will be sent to your old address; or
• your circumstances have changed; for example, if you can no longer sign your name or you now use a wheelchair all the time.

Paying for your card

You can pay for your card:

• in person at any post office
• by phone on 131 816
• online at Post Billpay
• by mail to the address on the bill.

Change of address

Please contact the VTD in writing (fax, post or email) and include the following details:

• full name
• old address
• new address
• member number
• date of birth
