Taxi Rank Safety Program
The Victorian Taxi Directorate has allocated a total of $841,574 in funding to thirteen councils across Victoria in the latest round of the $4 million Taxi Rank Safety Program.
Councils will use the money to upgrade safety and amenity at taxi ranks in their municipality including the installation of CCTV systems, upgraded lighting and the provision of shelters and seating.
